Job Overview

Join Acenda's PACT program and make a lasting impact in the lives of adults in Cape May County. This role involves providing intensive, community-based support and advocacy to help persons navigate mental health, legal, and social challenges. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering services directly in the home and community. Ideal for compassionate professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Program Info

Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) provides comprehensive treatment to people with serious and persistent mental illness. People served by PACT receive individualized multidisciplinary services that include staffing available 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week, and a staff Psychiatrist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empower individuals through meaningful work by providing hands-on vocational training and employment opportunities that support long-term recovery and full community integration.
  • Serve as a dedicated job coach, offering consistent, on-the-ground support to participants while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with employers.
  • a key player on a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, delivering education, encouragement, and practical tools to help individuals succeed in their personalized wellness journeys.
  • Meet clients where they are-in the community-guiding them through essential services, healthcare appointments, and daily living challenges to promote independence and stability.
  • Ensure accountability and quality care by completing all documentation accurately and within required timeframes, contributing to the program's success and client progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science from an accredited institution
  • Must have 2 years of experience in vocational assessment, job preparation, or individualized job placement and/or job coaching with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record

Additional Information

  • Starting Compensation: $19.23 per hour
  • $1,000 Sign-on Bonus
  • Bilingual-Spanish differential: $1.50/hourly
