Employment Consultant – Make a Difference While Building Your Career

Employment Resources Inc. is committed to helping individuals with disabilities achieve self-sufficiency through employment. Through the Ticket to Work (TTW) Program, we provide career coaching and job placement assistance for individuals receiving SSI or SSDI benefits who are ready to transition back into the workforce.

We're looking for an Employment Consultant who is a self-starter, passionate about working with diverse groups, and eager to empower job seekers. If you thrive in a people-focused role where you can make an impact through coaching, goal-setting, and career development, we'd love to hear from you!


What You'll Do
  • Conduct intake assessments and eligibility screenings, helping participants create individualized career plans
  • Provide career coaching and job readiness training, including resume building, interview preparation, and online job applications
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring employers, advocating for inclusive hiring practices and connecting participants with job opportunities
  • Track employment milestones and job retention, offering support if challenges arise
  • Engage in community outreach, networking at career fairs, chamber events, and professional business groups to promote awareness of the Ticket to Work program
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of services, case notes, and compliance activities
  • Stay informed about disability employment policies, Social Security work incentives, and workforce development trends

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with a CRM is a plus
  • Ability to pass the Social Security Administration Suitability Process
