Job Overview
The Employment Specialist's primary focus is on recruiting, filling job orders, and driving inside sales activities. This role requires the use of discretionary judgment in administering Express systems and procedures related to recruiting, hiring, and assigning associates to client companies.
Employment Specialists are responsible for building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified associates across Office Services, Light Industrial, Skilled Trades, and Professional Staffing divisions. Success in this role comes from the ability to quickly and efficiently fill job orders while delivering exceptional service to both clients and associates.
This position requires strong documentation of all recruiting and sales activities within the automated system, as well as consistent use of consultative sales techniques through ongoing outreach and relationship-building. Strong phone presence and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, and place associates in a variety of roles
  • Fill job orders quickly and accurately by matching candidate skills with client needs
  • Build and maintain a reliable pipeline of qualified associates
  • Conduct consistent inside sales and prospecting activities
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to develop client and candidate relationships
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in the automated system (Q4)
  • Perform ongoing follow-up with associates and clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, referrals, and social media
  • Support office goals through collaboration and execution of daily activities

Technical Skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Outlook)
  • Typing minimum of 40 words per minute
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills
