Job description

Deliver diagnostic excellence—producing high-quality X-ray images with precision, compassion, and confidence while keeping patients at the center of every exam.

At SimonMed Imaging, diagnostic quality starts with you. Our X-Ray Technologists are essential to delivering the advanced outpatient imaging our patients and referring physicians depend on. From precise positioning to real-time image evaluation, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards.

We are looking for a tech who takes pride in clean images, thrives in a fast-paced but supportive environment, and brings genuine care to every patient interaction. If you find purpose in high-caliber clinical work, value efficient workflows and advanced technology, and want to grow within a collaborative team that holds itself to a higher standard—this is where you belong.

What You Bring

Precision and clinical expertise: You perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning, evaluate your own images for technical quality, and produce diagnostic-grade results that physicians count on—right the first time.

Mastery of standards and systems: You know your anatomy, protocols, and equipment. You are proficient in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, apply ALARA radiation safety principles without being reminded, and maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation.

Agility and autonomy: You manage your own workflow, keep your room ready, and troubleshoot equipment issues without slowing the team down. You adapt to a high-volume schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.

Patient empathy: Every patient receives your full attention—proper positioning, a clear explanation of the procedure, and genuine care for their comfort and safety. Infection control standards are maintained every single time.

Mentorship and professionalism: When students rotate through, you step up. You model best practices, provide hands-on guidance, and foster the confidence and professionalism that makes the next generation of techs exceptional.

What You'll Gain

Purpose-driven work: At SimonMed, you are part of something bigger than any single scan. The #1 reason people stay is the sense of purpose that comes from delivering advanced outpatient imaging that directly impacts patient diagnoses and outcomes. Your expertise makes a difference every single day.

A collaborative team environment: Join a team where support, communication, and shared clinical standards are the norm—not the exception. Our collaborative culture is the reason our technologists stay and thrive.

Flexibility and work-life balance: No trauma bays, no overnight on-call, no unpredictable ER surges at 2 AM. You get the predictability of an outpatient schedule—with holidays off and a shift that ends when it is supposed to.

Efficient workflows and advanced technology: We invest in modern radiographic equipment and imaging software, so you are not fighting outdated systems to get a clean image. Our efficient workflows mean you can focus on clinical excellence—not administrative friction.

High clinical standards in advanced imaging: At our scale, you will encounter a varied case mix that keeps your positioning skills sharp and your protocol knowledge current. SimonMed's commitment to high clinical standards and advanced protocols means your work is always meaningful and professionally rewarding.

A career path, not just a job: As a national network, we offer internal mobility, cross-training opportunities, and a clear path forward—whether that is into advanced modalities, leadership, or mentorship roles. Your ARRT certification is just the beginning.

You're a Strong Fit if You Have

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required

• Valid state licensure current (where required)

• BLS certification current or in progress

• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus

• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program

• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems

• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles

• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates

• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision

• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture
