HOT JOB: CT TECHNOLOGIST – 3x12 MULTI-SHIFT (DETROIT, MI)

Sia Hayes at First Connect Health is fast-tracking applications for experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists. There are 3 open positions for this 13-week contract at a premier Level 1 Trauma Center, flagged as a critical fill. First-time travelers are welcome!

POSITION QUICK-FACTS

  • Shift Options: 12-Hour Shifts | Day, Afternoon, and Midnight Openings (No block scheduling)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly (3 days per week)

THE CLINICAL MATRIX
  • The Environment: High-volume Campus. Busy Level 1 Trauma Center handling critical emergency, diagnostic, and complex procedural tracks.
  • Core Duties: Perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging. Prepare and administer intravenous contrast media via power injectors, monitor for adverse patient reactions, and maintain a sterile field. Assist Radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures, such as image-guided biopsies.
  • Systems & Workflow: Complete operational charting and study indexing within RIS (study begin/end/complete) and ensure seamless, high-quality image transmission and exception resolution in PACS.
  • Radiation Safety: Exercise strict ALARA principles, utilizing appropriate shielding and tailored equipment settings to minimize patient radiation dose.
  • Scheduling Breakdown: * Day Shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM) – Focus on procedural and diagnostic CT.
    • Afternoon/Midnight Split Shifts (3:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
    • Weekend Rotation: Required for ALL positions (Every other weekend coverage). No designated on-call requirements.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of current, dedicated acute care hospital CT experience [HARDSTOP]. Must be comfortable working independently in a Level 1 Trauma environment.
  • Registries: Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) along with the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or verified registry-eligible status [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications: Active AHA BLS certification [HARDSTOP].
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
