Job description

We are looking to expand and are in need of candidates with a positive, motivated attitude that would love to grow with the company. We would love for you to join us and be part of the Boiling Point family!

Purpose & Summary:

Responsible for preparation of all food items in the Central Kitchen including quality control, cleaning, cutting, chopping, prepping, plating, and storing of food items that will be sent to the restaurants.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to perform at least 4 of the following job duties per BP standards:
  • Must follow proper placement of food items into pots per BP specifications
  • Chopping all food related items as needed
  • Preparation of all ingredients needed for the day
  • Washes and cuts vegetables with a knife
  • General housekeeping of work stations (ex: trash, washing counters, washing floors, etc)
  • Preparing boxes by setting it up for packing
  • Packaging completed pots (Sealing)
  • Cooking food items as needed for the preparation process
  • Cutting/slicing all varieties of meat
  • Following appropriate recipes to make the sauces
  • Prepare add-on items including vacuum sealing all orders to be shipped out
  • Quality Control of all items to ensure they follow BP standards
  • Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
  • Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with BP's code of ethics, integrity and conduct

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a fast paced environment in a restaurant/kitchen
  • Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • Able to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules
  • Bilingual Chinese preferred, but not required
  • High School diploma preferred
  • All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process

Physical demands:

  • Ability to bend and lift frequently
