Job Description

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify bruised or broken portions of chicken requiring removal.
  • Place and identify product and place into designated area.
  • Remove specific parts of chicken.
  • Rotate into several functions including Salvage, Product Dumper, Flipping Thighs, Deboning Machine, Saddle Pack Machine, Multi Cut Machine and Netting.
  • Able to cut and trim product with Wizard Knife.
  • Supply and place pads/trays on conveyor belt.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/steel platform.
  • Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives, scissors and hose.
  • Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
  • Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting of 4 to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to rotate to all positions.
  • Able to work in a cold, warm or wet environment.
  • Able to work around moving equipment.
