Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the Final Stage of Product Production 

Packaging employees are responsible for packaging all WIP into the appropriate pre-printed cartons and master cases. Master cases are palletized with the date and item number to allow for tracking and then stored in the freezer. The Packaging position requires the employee to stand for the entire shift and may require items to be packed from a moving conveyor system. This function may require lifting up to and including twenty-five (25 lbs) throughout the shift. This position adheres to Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety and all other Company Rules and Policies. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Packaging 

Final inspection of sticks or cups for quality, prior to packing into retail or food service containers, packing into shipping boxes, including proper product placement, correct counts and closure and coding.
