Packer - 1st Shift (34th)
Location: Largo, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Position Overview
The Packer (Manufacturing Associate) is responsible for the packaging and preparation of a variety of manufactured products for shipment. This position supports the manufacturing, quality, and assembly departments by performing packaging duties, conducting basic visual quality inspections, and maintaining production efficiency while ensuring products meet company quality standards.
Essential Job Functions
  • Stack and pack products into the appropriate containers, including boxes, poly bags, and other packaging materials.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment by labeling and packaging them according to company standards.
  • Verify the quality and quantity of products before packaging.
  • Complete required paperwork and ensure all containers are properly labeled for shipment.
  • Identify misprinted or defective items and remove them from the production line.
  • Record defective products on the designated misprint or donation log.
  • Assist in maintaining production flow to meet daily goals.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
