Material Handler II (7:00pm-7:00am, 7:00am-7:00pm)-$18.00/hr

Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Material Handler II to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler II will be responsible for packing finished goods, monitor products for defects, assist in the start-up or changeover of products and keep work area clean and organized

What you'll do:
Material Handler's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications
* Update Hour by Hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards
* Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools
* Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals
* Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately

What you'll bring:
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* Machine operation or mechanical skill set experience
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes desired
* Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Within 3 months, you'll:
* Complete any required training
* Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
* Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
