Job description

Job Summary
- Assist with loading, unloading, picking, packing, and moving goods in a warehouse environment.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Utilize basic computer skills and/or demonstrate technical aptitude to learn warehouse management systems (preferred: MS Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21)
- Perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
- Communicate effectively and provide strong customer service
- Work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate self-motivation to accomplish tasks and goals
- Maintain attention to detail and adhere to safety protocols
- Wear required protective equipment and potentially pass warehouse equipment certifications
- Adapt to varying work shifts, including possible overtime, extended hours, and weekends with little notice
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 25 lbs or more with assistance), standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing
- Maintain required vision standards to perform job functions
- Work assigned 1st shift (Mon-Fri, start time between 6am-8am), with occasional overtime
