Job Summary:
The Packaging Technician ensures that all processed assets are securely packaged, labeled, and staged for their final disposition (Reuse, Remarket, or Scrap). This role maintains packaging material inventory and ensures 100% compliance with client-standard packaging configurations to prevent damage during transit.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliant Packaging: Perform repackaging and supplemental packaging, applying strict client-standard configurations.
  • Material Management: Maintain packaging material inventory levels to ensure 100% availability for the daily operations team.
  • Disposition Staging: Prepare, sort, and secure items into designated staging areas based on disposition paths (Reuse, Remarket, or Scrap).
  • Palletization & Labeling: Securely wrap, strap, and label outbound pallets according to transport guidelines.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packaging station.

Required Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in a packaging, shipping, or warehouse fulfillment role.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure labels and packaging types match disposition requirements.
  • Experience with scanners, label printers, and packaging tools.
  • Ability to follow structured QA checklists and visual reference guides (Redbook).
