Job description

At Trident Maritime Systems - Heavy Equipment Group, we don't just build systems-we build careers. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer in our Rhinelander, WI.
The Manufacturing Engineer will program and support production by creating CNC programs, developing and maintaining processing routings for each job, and providing hands-on technical support to meet shop floor needs, quality requirements, and delivery schedules.
MAJOR DUTIES:
  • Program CNC parts and revise programs as needed to support production requirements
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing routings, work instructions, and process documentation
  • Support new product introductions and engineering changes
  • Assist in the design and development of jigs and fixtures, tooling, Etc.
  • Review current manufacturing processes and design and review for future process improvements
  • Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost
  • Problem solves on shop floor & other departments as needed or observed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience preferred
  • H.S. degree required, A.S. or B.S.ME. preferred
  • Computer knowledge required; ERP/MRP systems, AutoCAD, Solid Works and knowledge of Feature Cam helpful.
  • Must have experience with calibrated measuring devices.
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
