A growing CPA firm located in Wakefield, MA seeking full-time candidates for several available Tax Manager - Remote

The firm's clientele ranges from large publicly held corporations to closely held businesses in diverse industries. Our opportunities are ideal for entrepreneurial, personable and technically talented individuals with 7+ years of accounting experience, who are looking to fast track their career. We are a progressive and growth-oriented firm that provides an enjoyable work environment, advancement opportunities, and a great compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities include:

Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources

Work directly with clients to build and maintain relationships

Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers

Perform tax research projects

Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportuni­ties and other matters

Provide training, direction, and supervision to team

Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization Build new client relationships and maintain existing relationships

Manage book of business, including budgets and production goals

Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients

Preferred qualifications include
BSBA in accounting

CPA certification required

7+ years of experience in public accounting

Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Organized and detail oriented

Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles

Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax
