Job Title: Packaging Engineer


Role Overview

This position supports the SAP project and broader packaging initiatives by ensuring accurate and compliant packaging material master data and specifications across systems.

The role works closely with the Global Packaging Materials team to manage data, maintain documentation quality, and support packaging engineering operations and projects.


Key Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in packaging engineering or related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP (required)
  • Basic understanding of dangerous goods packaging (preferred)
  • Familiarity with data management and IT systems (nice to have)
  • Willingness to learn change control and sustainable packaging practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SAP project through data import and data management activities
  • Maintain accurate packaging material master data and specifications
  • Provide operational support to the Global Packaging Materials team
  • Ensure documentation accuracy across systems
  • Assist with packaging-related projects and data analysis

Additional Preferences

  • Some packaging engineering experience preferred
  • Dangerous goods training is a plus
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) experience is a plus
