Job description

The Packaging Intern will support the RPM Packaging Team in a remote, part-time role (15-20 hours per week). Candidates must be enrolled as full-time students during the fall semester.  In this role, the intern will assist with data collection, management, and cleansing activities. Responsibilities include accurately entering and maintaining packaging data within internal systems to support analysis and identify potential consolidation opportunities across the packaging portfolio.

  • Education/License/Certification/Experience Requirements

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Packaging Engineering.

  • Knowledge and Skills Required for Position

    • Familiarity with technical aspects of various packaging formats, including drums, corrugated boxes, pails, cartridges, bottles and related systems.

    • Strong data-driven mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Essential Functions

    • Gather and input packaging specifications into internal system. 

    • Utilize system-generated data and descriptions to review, standardize, and improve the quality of existing packaging records.
