Our client, a leading manufacturer of cold weather apparel and accessories, is looking for an Assistant Designer / Technical Designer to join their team!!! The Assistant Designer / Technical Designer supports the design team in creating and executing visual concepts, product designs, or marketing materials. This entry-level role is ideal for
someone passionate about design who wants to grow technical skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to creative projects from concept to production.
Responsibilities:
 Assist senior designers with research, concept development, and design execution.
 Create sketches, mockups, and technical drawings under supervision.
 Support in preparing presentations, mood boards, and material samples.
 Organization and inputting data for PLM- BOM - POM and Packaging ( TP's)
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, production, and
merchandising.
 Assist in preparing files for production, print, or digital publishing.
 Stay updated with design trends, materials, and new technologies.
 Follow up with vendors on lab dips/ strike offs and meeting timelines needed
Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree or diploma in Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a
related field.
 Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or relevant
design software.
 Strong sense of color, typography, and layout.
 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
 Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
 A collaborative and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Experience:
 0-2 years of experience in a design-related role.
 Knowledge of CAD tools, garment construction, or product development (for
fashion/apparel roles).
