  • Establish the data migration strategy, including entity selection, DMF package design, mapping standards, and cutover sequencing.
  • Review and approve technical designs for extensions, integrations, and reporting to confirm they align to the functional architecture and Microsoft roadmap.
  • Serve as the senior functional advisor to client sponsors, controllers, and process owners throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Partner with the project manager on scope, estimates, sequencing, risk, and change control, and hold the line on solution scope.
  • Lead conference room pilots, user acceptance testing readiness, and go live and hypercare support from the functional side.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex functional issues across GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, project accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and subledger to GL reconciliation.
  • Guide reporting and analytics design across Financial Reporter, Business Performance Analytics, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse.
  • Position and design first party Copilot and agent capabilities where they deliver measurable value to finance and operations users.
  • Contribute to pursuits through discovery sessions, solution positioning, estimating, and statement of work development.
  • Build reusable delivery assets including templates, accelerators, configuration playbooks, and demo environments.
  • Represent the practice in client facing content, conference sessions, webinars, and the Centric blog.
  • Track the Microsoft release wave roadmap and translate what is coming into practical guidance for clients and consultants.
  • Coach consultants and architects on functional depth, client presence, and design discipline.
  • Provide quality assurance reviews on peer engagements and surface risk early.
  • Support recruiting through candidate interviews and technical evaluation.
  • Model the collaborative, low ego consulting culture that Centric clients expect.

Who You Are:

  • Eight or more years implementing Microsoft Dynamics ERP, with at least five years on Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX 2012.
  • Three or more full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations in a lead functional or architect capacity.
  • Deep functional command of the finance suite, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash and bank management, and financial dimensions.
  • Working knowledge of at least one adjacent area such as supply chain, procurement, project operations, manufacturing, or warehouse management.
  • Demonstrated command of period close, month end reconciliation, and audit and control requirements in a live production environment.
  • Experience with data migration, integration patterns, and the Data Management Framework.
  • Practical understanding of Lifecycle Services, environment strategy, One Version release cadence, and Microsoft support processes.
  • Proven ability to lead executive level conversations and drive consensus among competing stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication, with the ability to produce design documentation that stands on its own.
  • MB-330 - Dynamics 365 SC Certification.
