Job description

We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Produce Packers & Production Associates to join a premier produce distribution operation at Business Depot Ogden. Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 / hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Overtime & Saturdays as needed)
Position Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Contract with Strong Temp-to-Hire Potential
Responsibilities:
- Produce Packaging: Hand-pack, sort, and grade fresh produce items directly on a fast-paced production line to prepare them for shipping.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure only high-quality product meets packaging and presentation standards.
- Material Handling: Safely handle, pack, and lift product containers and boxes weighing between 5 to 15 lbs throughout your shift.
- Operational Excellence: Work collaboratively with line team members, supervisors, and plant leadership to hit daily produce packaging targets while maintaining a clean, food-safe workstation.
Work Environment & Attributes
- Cold Storage Facility: Work is performed in a clean, temperature-controlled, refrigerated facility kept at a steady 48?F to maintain produce freshness.
- No Specialized PPE Required: Standard, warm personal clothing suitable for a cool environment is all that is needed.
- Leadership & Culture: Work within a close-knit operation with direct support from an accessible plant manager and supervisor.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Skills:
Language Skill: Spanish fluency or bilingual skills are strongly preferred for effective daily collaboration with team leadership and coworkers.
