Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Openwork is hiring an experienced Packaging Associate for a growing manufacturing facility in Houston. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with packaging and forklift experience who enjoy hands-on work and want to build a long-term career in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Package finished products according to customer and company specifications.
  • Verify pallet labels, counts, measurements, and product identification.
  • Operate a forklift to move and stage materials safely.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure product accuracy and traceability.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packaging area.
  • Follow all company safety, PPE, and ISO procedures.
  • Support production and shipping operations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or forklift experience required.
  • Strong forklift operating skills (forklift assessment required during the interview process).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Safety & Work Environment:
  • Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with spot coolers.
  • Facility handles lead-based materials and follows strict safety protocols.
  • Must be able to wear a half-mask respirator during the shift.
  • Daily showering after work and periodic blood testing are required as part of company safety standards.
  • Must follow all PPE requirements and company operating procedures.
