About the Role

Biostate AI is a Houston-based biotech company that also operates a consumer merchandise brand with a growing online store. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented packer to prepare customer orders for shipment. This is a flexible, on-call role that's a great fit for a student looking to earn steady extra income around their class schedule.


What You'll Do

  • Pack customer orders accurately and carefully, including gift-style wrapping of items per our packaging standards
  • Perform quality checks before packing (correct items, quantities, and condition)
  • Prepare shipping labels and organize completed packages
  • Drop off packages at the designated shipping carrier location
  • Keep the packing area organized and flag low packing-supply inventory


Schedule & Availability

  • Hours are on a per-need basis, estimated at 5–15 hours per week
  • Guaranteed minimum of 5 paid hours per week
  • You'll receive at least 2 days' notice before each packing session
  • Sessions can be completed at any hour of the day that works for you, flexibility on timing, as long as orders go out on schedule
  • Must be able to come into the office in person for each session
