Packaging Worker | Logan, UT


Nexeo is hiring a Packaging Worker for a fullโ€‘time, dayโ€‘shift opportunity in Logan. In this role, you will inspect, protect, label, and stage finished metal parts for shipment after they come off production.

This position is physically demanding. Employees will handle metal components and assemblies that may be heavy, bulky, or irregularly shaped, and must be comfortable lifting and maneuvering materials throughout a 10โ€‘hour shift in an industrial fabrication environment.


Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished metal parts to ensure quality standards and correct quantities
  • Wrap, pad, strap, and label bulky or irregularly shaped metal components
  • Prepare and stage products safely for shipment
  • Follow work instructions and packaging procedures accurately
  • Maintain steady productivity to meet daily production goals
  • Operate pallet jacks or other materialโ€‘handling equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety guidelines and properly use required PPE
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards


Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Comfortable performing physical work and handling heavy or awkward metal parts
