  • Digitize packaging development - own PLM data integrity (BOMs/specs), and pilot simulation/digital twins (distribution, drop, aerosol performance) with dashboarding for faster, better decisions.
  • Establish packaging design standards (performance parameters, compatibility limits, recyclability) and prepare playbooks that enable rapid reuse, variation, and harmonization across regions.

  • Collaborate with global partners to align on packaging development initiatives, effectively managing key deliverables to accommodate global time zones.
  • Ensure business continuity and compliance-set obsolescence and material-substitution plans; maintain readiness for DOT/transport regulations, labeling changes, and regional requirements; coordinate risk actions with Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
  • Build the supplier ecosystem - select and develop component suppliers; alternate sourcing strategies, and Supplier-Enabled Innovation pipelines to de-risk scale-up and accelerate access to novel technologies.

  • Elevate team capability-coach and mentor Packaging Engineers, build training modules, and lead continuous-improvement workstreams to strengthen scientific rigor, storytelling, and decision quality across the R&D Community of Practice.
