Job description

Job Summary
The position is responsible for the packaging, kitting, and light assembly of products.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify accuracy of picked parts, components, labels and packaging materials.
  • Ensure components are not damaged or missing parts. Flag all suspect materials and forward to the Line Lead for quarantine.
  • Assemble parts and components into finished goods per documented work instructions.
  • Accurately record all transactions in the ERP.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, output bins, and stocking locations per 5S standards.
  • Operate in conformance with the requirements of the quality management system.
  • Assist other employees in and out of the department.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
  • Provide feedback on system needs/changes.

Requirements:
Must be able to read work instructions, pay attention to details, and maintain organization. Computer experience with Microsoft Office desired. Forklift operator certification (training provided on-site if needed). Customer service oriented. Must have ability to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Position requires employee to stand for up to 4 hours at a time with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
