Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks. The Warehouse Associate uses hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight and other job duties as assigned.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check as a condition of employment. Certain felony convictions and convictions involving violence, theft, abuse, dishonesty, or breach of trust may disqualify candidates based on the nature of the position and applicable law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operates all material handling equipment in a safe manner
  • Working with different departments to meet demands of the business
  • Communicating any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading

  • Participate in daily inventory processes, auditing and researching discrepancies
