Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at The UPS Store. In this role, you will be the face of our business, providing exceptional service to customers who need shipping, printing, packaging, and business solutions. You will help drive sales, ensure operational efficiency, and create a positive experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Process shipping transactions
  • Offer packaging solutions and professionally pack customer items when needed
  • Sell printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and finishing services
  • Provide additional services including notary, mailbox rental, and business support
  • Educate customers on services and recommend solutions that best meet their needs
  • Ring up sales accurately using the POS system and handle cash, credit, and other payment methods
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment
  • Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Track and manage inventory of shipping supplies, office products, and print materials
  • Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong sales skills with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
