Packaging Designer


Background in food, beverage, or CPG industry.


Responsible for designing and developing packaging artwork and structures for consumer products. Manages the full process from concept and material selection through final print production, ensuring packaging meets standards of quality, brand consistency, functionality, and sustainability.


Key Duties:

  • Design packaging artwork for retail and consumer products.
  • Create 3D mockups for internal reviews and client approvals.
  • Develop packaging structures, dielines, BOMs, and material specifications.
  • Support production trials and monitor machinery capabilities.
  • Conduct press checks at vendor facilities.
  • Lead cost‑reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and brand guidelines.
  • Integrate sustainable materials to reduce environmental footprint.
  • Manage project timelines and communicate risks and milestones.
  • Collaborate with vendors on materials, finishes, and production requirements.


Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of packaging design experience (preferably in CPG).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of packaging production processes, print specifications, and materials.
  • Experience with 3D mockup tools (Blender or similar).
