AERATOR OPERATOR - PRINTING

Our Staunton, VA facility to looking for an Aerator Operator. This position is responsible for operating our Aerator equipment which assists in cleaning and preparing the stock for our printing presses.

Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

  • Using Job Jacket retrieves appropriate stock
  • Unwraps load and positions in aerator
  • Clamps load, flips load, removes pallet
  • Operates aerator
  • Replaces pallet with plastic press pallet
  • Tags load
  • Distributes aerated stock to appropriate press
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Comply with all company rules, regulations and safety requirements

Required Skills

An individual in this position must be able to learn and demonstrate the following skills;

  • Operate hand jack and electric pallet jack
  • Operate forklift truck
  • Operate aerator
  • Understand Job Jacket information
  • Complete necessary paperwork
  • Demonstrate a level of mechanical aptitude necessary to be successful in the position
