Location: Minneapolis MN
Duration: 18 Months
Looking for consultants only on W2


Skills Required:

5+ years experience in Information Technology
4+ years of application repackaging experience
1 year of application deployment experience
Advanced experience of Windows Installer (MSI) technology
Advanced experience of Application Virtualization technology (App-V 5.1)
Experience creating shims
Advanced knowledge of application dependencies
Advanced Experience using Install shield Admin Studio 2011 or newer
Good scripting knowledge in VBScript, PowerShell and WiseScript
Demonstrated experience with MS App-V sequencer
Intermediate knowledge of SCCM 2012
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms
2+ years application compatibility experience using App-DNA or ChangeBase
Has current (within last 2 years) experience working with Enterprise Application Engineering toolsets and processes (DSL, Pac2000, App-DNA, Cosmic)
Responsibilities:
Acts as a lead in providing technical guidance and consultation associated with operating systems or subsystems.
Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations.
Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems.
Provides the strategy and design to build a utility for systems programming tasks required for installations, configurations, upgrades and testing.
Develops new documentation, departmental procedures and user support guides.
Consults with management, customers and staff and recommends process and procedure improvements.
Identifies and provides guidance to less experienced staff and/or resolves highly complex production problems.
Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
7+ years of experience in operating systems analysis/ engineering.
Accurately complete assigned packaging requests in a timely manner
Ability to handle multiple projects, escalations and shifting timelines
Evaluate/translate requirements into unattended packaged applications using the EAE toolset
Work with cross functional teams to resolve complex packaging issues
Work with requestors to define requirements
Peer review of packages in a Quality Assurance (QA) role
Assign and assist in completion of User Acceptance Testing
Troubleshoot complex issues with existing packages and remediate as needed
