Job description

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday- Friday with possible Saturdays  Hours: 5:15AM-1:45PM  Pay: $17.40

· This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a hand and/or rider pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

· This position is responsible for operating the hand and/or rider pallet jack to move product and materials through various departments. It is a fast-paced position that involves multi-tasking and constant walking throughout the facility.

· Must keep the lines and pack out department stocked with all necessary supplies and product.

· Must operate the pallet jack through various departments to include Flat-Pack, debone, pack-out, shipping, receiving, coolers, and freezer.

· Completing safety checks and filling out the hand and/or rider jack safety inspection forms.

· Must be willing to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds. Returning all equipment and supplies to the assigned areas and turning in all paperwork and forms to the specified personnel.

· Good verbal and written communication skills will be required to communicate with others through the radio and to read, document, and communicate any issues, instructions, or observations on the inspection forms, trainings, and or any other necessary paperwork.

· Communicating any issues to the Lead and/or Supervisor immediately. Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements: 6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months

· Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.

· Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times.

· Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
