Job description

Description:

We Sell Toyotas, Hondas and Subarus. We Laugh a Lot. We Win Together. Let's be honest—there are a lot of jobs out there. If you're looking for a place where people actually enjoy coming to work, celebrate wins together, laugh throughout the day, and make a great living helping customers...keep reading.

At Kendall Toyota Honda Subaru of Fairbanks, we're building more than a sales team. We're building a group of positive, competitive, customer-focused people who enjoy working hard, supporting each other, and having fun while doing it. No, we're not looking for the stereotypical "car salesperson."

We're looking for someone who:

  • Likes talking with people.
  • Loves helping customers.
  • Gets excited when they hit goals.
  • Doesn't mind a little friendly competition.
  • Wants a career—not just another job.

If your friends describe you as outgoing, motivated, funny, or the person who somehow knows everyone, you'll probably fit in pretty well here.

As a Sales Consultant, or Internet Sales Consultant, you'll be the first person many customers meet. You'll help shoppers move from "just looking" to "I love my new Toyota, Honda or Subaru." Every day is different. Some days you'll celebrate deliveries. Some days you'll solve problems. Some days someone will bring donuts for the team. (We're hoping that's you occasionally.)

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to online and phone inquiries.
  • Building relationships through phone, text, email, and video.
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Helping customers find the perfect vehicle.
  • Becoming a Toyota product expert.
  • Following up with customers (without sounding like a robot).
  • Working alongside one of the best sales teams in Fairbanks.

Why People Love Working Here:

  • A team that celebrates each other's success.
  • Managers who coach instead of micromanage.
  • Friendly competition with plenty of high-fives.
  • Company events and team celebrations.
  • A fast-paced environment where the day flies by.
  • Opportunities to grow your career instead of looking for your next job.
  • Unlimited earning potential; annual earnings up to $200,000+
  • Paid training with a guaranteed income while you learn.
  • Monthly performance bonuses.
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance.
  • Company-paid Life Insurance.
  • 401(k) with Fidelity.
  • Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Leave.
  • Employee discounts on vehicles, service, and parts for you and your immediate family.
  • Supplemental Accident & Illness coverage.

About Kendall Auto Group: Family-owned since 1937, Kendall Auto Group has grown into one of the largest automotive groups in the Pacific Northwest—but we've never lost the family atmosphere. We believe great people create great customer experiences. That's why we invest in our employees, promote from within, and celebrate success together. Our mission is simple: Deliver an unrivaled customer experience. If you're looking for a place where you'll enjoy the people you work with, be challenged to grow, and have the opportunity to earn an exceptional income, we'd love to meet you.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, travel to out-of-town training events is infrequent but required, candidates may spend up to ¼ of work shift using computers or phones, use of snow removal tools required, majority of job duties will be completed by standing and/or walking throughout work shift and lifting may be required up to 20 pounds rarely.

Requirements:

We're looking for candidates with positive attitudes, strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated, dependable, coachable and eager to learn, and familiar with technology. Candidates must be willing to work weekend and evening shifts, have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, have a good driving record and valid driver license.
