Full-Time Opening for Interventional Cardiologist in San Diego, CA

Details: (Board Certified- Fellowship trained structural interventional Cardiologist)

  • Join a well-established division of 12 Cardiologists and 5 APP's
  • 4-day work week- 10-hour work day
  • 1.5 day/week- outpatient clinic
  • 2 days/week dedicated to hospital procedures
  • Occasional echo/stress testing supervision
  • Inpatient work at Sharp Memorial Hospital (SMH)
  • SMH credentialing requires diagnostic, coronary angiography privileges as part of Cardiology core privileges at SMH
  • Invasive procedures: Left & right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemaker placement and TEE's
  • Opportunity to pick up clinical shifts for additional compensation
  • Full support staff with dedicated nurse, exam rooms and office space
  • Paid Malpractice

  • EPIC EMR utilized system-wide

Necessary Procedural skillset should include:

  • Percutaneous coronary intervention
  • Invasive u/s, iFR and hemodynamicsย 
  • Atherectomy
  • Percutaneous left ventricular assist device
  • Intra-aortic ballon placement
  • Mechanical circulatory support (ECMO)

Preferred:

  • Structural (TAVR, mitral and tricuspid interventions, ASD/PFO, LAAO)
  • Peripheral interventions ย

Compensation Range: $629K-$810K+ Compensation is subject to the individual department/division compensation plans. More information is discussed during the recruitment process
