Essential Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Must have valid Commercial Driver's License with school bus endorsement
  • Must have a school bus driver certificate from Stark County Board of Education
  • Must have ability to take directions, possess good public relations skills and ability to work well with others as judged by Transportation Supervisor
  • Must have strength and dexterity to handle all labor tasks connected with job
  • Must have an acceptable background check and complete all required personnel records
  • Must have a good record of punctuality and demonstrate building average attendance
General Expectations:
  • Must be a positive voice with other staff members at all times
  • Must be prepared for change, even if it comes at a faster than desired pace
