NO UNPREDICTABLE SHIFTS. GUARANTEED HOURS. MONDAY-FRIDAY SCHEDULE

McGregor PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a community-based program designed to help seniors remain safely in their homes by providing comprehensive, coordinated healthcare and supportive services. Our mission is to offer a high-quality alternative to nursing home placement through compassionate, person-centered care.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the independence and wellness of our participants by:

  • Safely transporting elderly individuals to and from the PACE center

  • Providing transportation to medical appointments and other required destinations

  • Assisting participants as needed to ensure comfort and safety during boarding, riding, and exiting

  • Delivering program supplies or equipment as requested

  • Representing PACE with professionalism, courtesy, and a commitment to exceptional service

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Ohio driver’s license with no more than two points on record at the time of hire (CDL not required).

  • Experience operating large vehicles required (ex. Uhaul, Amazon, transport vans/buses, etc.)

  • At least one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly individuals required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Working knowledge of Akron and Summit County streets preferred.
