Job description

At Shutterfly, we make life’s experiences unforgettable. We believe there is extraordinary power in the self-expression. That’s why our family of brands helps customers create products and capture moments that reflect who they uniquely are.

The Sr. Manager, Procure-to-Pay Services will lead the end-to-end P2P process within the Corporate Accounting Group and Shared Services framework, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role is pivotal in driving transformation, optimizing processes, and managing strategic supplier relationships across global operations.

Additionally, the role will oversee Payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely employee payments and compliance with statutory requirements.

Once the Genpact operating model is realigned to mirror our three-pillar structure (R2R, P2P, O2C), this position will serve as the main liaison for all Procure-to-Pay interactions with Genpact.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Governance
  • Lead and mentor the P2P and Payroll teams, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary governance point for P2P and Payroll operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
Process Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end P2P process: requisition, purchase order, invoice processing, and payment.
  • Oversee Payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements, tax compliance, and adherence to labor laws.
  • Drive standardization and harmonization across regions, aligning with global finance policies.
Transformation & Optimization
  • Identify and implement process improvements leveraging automation, ERP enhancements (SAP/EPM), and best practices.
  • Lead system upgrades, integrations, and UAT for P2P and Payroll platforms.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards for both P2P and Payroll.
  • Implement robust risk mitigation strategies and monitor control effectiveness.
Supplier & Employee Relationship Management
  • Oversee strategic supplier engagement, contract compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure employee payroll queries are resolved promptly and accurately.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Monitor and report on P2P and Payroll performance metrics, cash flow impacts, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide insights for decision-making and support finance leadership with data-driven recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Procurement, HR, Technical Accounting, FP&A, IT) to align P2P and Payroll initiatives with business objectives.
  • Act as a key liaison for internal and external audits.
Future-State Responsibility – Genpact Partnership
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Genpact P2P Delivery Manager and their team once the Genpact operating model is reset and aligned with our three-pillar structure (R2R, P2P, O2C).
  • Ensure seamless coordination, adherence to SLAs, and alignment with Shutterfly’s internal controls and process standards.
  • Monitor Genpact’s delivery performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Build a strong partnership with Genpact leadership to foster transparency, accountability, and innovation in P2P operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CIPS, CPA) preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Finance Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing P2P and Payroll processes.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Payroll platforms.
  • Proven track record in process transformation and shared services environments.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Competencies
  • Strategic thinking with operational execution capability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead change and manage complex global environments.
