Job description

Sales Professional – Mattress Overstock | Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role We’re expanding our sales team in the high-growth specialty sleep sector and need driven, high-energy Sales Professionals who thrive in a competitive, performance-driven environment. You’ll engage directly with customers, diagnose their sleep issues, overcome objections, and close deals on premium mattresses that deliver real results—products that optimise recovery, boost daily performance, and transform lives while commanding strong margins.

This is a true sales role: high activity, clear targets, and uncapped earning potential for those who consistently hit and exceed goals. This is not a cashier position.

Compensation

  • Base pay: $15/hour
  • Monthly performance bonus: Up to $500 (tied to achievable sales targets)
  • Per-sale SPIFFs: Extra cash on every mattress sold
  • Uncapped commission structure – your income scales directly with your results

Top performers regularly double their base pay and beyond. This is a role where hustle, competitive drive, and skill translate directly into bigger paychecks.

What We Offer

  • Intensive, hands-on sales training from proven high-volume closers—no mattress experience needed
  • A high-demand product category: everyone needs sleep, and customers actively seek solutions for better recovery and peak performance
  • Clear career progression: we promote top producers into leadership and higher-earning roles fast

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to build rapport quickly, handle objections, and close sales aggressively
  • Competitive mindset with a relentless drive to hit targets in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  • Passion for mastering product knowledge, sleep science, and how quality rest fuels performance and recovery
  • Professional presentation, confident demeanor, and high energy
  • Reliable personal transportation to rotate between London, Somerset, and Richmond locations
  • Physical capability to demonstrate mattresses and assist with occasional light lifting/movement in the showroom

How to Apply If you’re ambitious, competitive, and ready to hustle for uncapped earnings based on your performance, we want to hear from you. Apply today.

Mattress Overstock is an equal opportunity employer.
