Job description

Hexcel is currently seeking Production Associates for our Seguin, TX location. Shifts for these positions have not been determined but will likely be evening or overnight shifts.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Comply with and understand all safety rules and job hazards. Perform job responsibilities safely and efficiently.

  • Analyze and correct minor problems with equipment that affect the quality of the product. Inform the technician of mechanical problems beyond the operator's capability to correct.

  • Accurately complete appropriate documentation regarding traceability, quality defects, and equipment mechanical problems to ensure quality production per customer specifications.

  • Accurately complete appropriate documentation regarding production sheets.

  • Use a hoist to move rolls of product to the packing and loading area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, minimum.

  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • Ability to perform continuous (67-100%) physical activities including seeing, standing, and walking.

  • Ability to perform frequent (34-66%) physical activities including reaching, grasping, climbing, stooping, threading, hearing, pushing, pulling, and writing.

  • Ability to perform occasional (1-33%) physical activities including kneeling, bending, speaking, lifting, feeling, and talking.

Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
