Job Title: Security Officer – Full-Time & Part-Time (Madison, WI)

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Shift and Schedule: Overnight shifts (Including Weekends and Holidays)

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct foot patrols of courtyards, offices, pools, and high-value areas.

  • Access Control: Monitor and secure access points to ensure the safety of residents and property.

  • Incident Reporting: Use company technology (web/app-based) to write detailed, accurate daily activity reports.

  • Customer Service: Act as a professional point of contact for clients, residents, and visitors.

  • De-escalation: Use verbal communication skills to resolve conflicts and maintain a calm environment.

  • Equipment Care: Maintain responsibility for assigned gear, including radios, keys, and mobile devices.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

  • Licensing: Must meet Wisconsin state security licensing requirements (no felony convictions).

  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Physical: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/move up to 20 lbs.
