Job description

Caregiver - MySolutions Home Care

$19.00/hour, credit given for experience. On-call, with 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, overnight and live-in assignments available. Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes across the northwest suburbs, including Wood Dale.

MySolutions Home Care, based at Luther Home in Arlington Heights, serves older adults in their private residences throughout the surrounding communities. As a Caregiver, you'll support daily living, companionship, and personal care for clients who rely on consistent, trustworthy help at home.

What you'll do

  • Provide one-on-one, person-centered care to older adults in their homes
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
  • Provide transportation and companionship
  • Support personal care needs and offer medication reminders
  • Build meaningful relationships while treating every client with dignity and respect

What you'll need

Required:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • At least 1 year of experience providing caregiving support to older adults or seniors
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Comfortable working in a client's private residence

Preferred:

  • Active Illinois CNA certification
  • Valid driver's license to transport clients using their vehicle

Pay and benefits

  • $19.00/hour, credit given for experience

Schedule

On-call, as needed. Shift lengths of 4, 8, 10, and 12 hours available, including overnight and live-in assignments, within 12 miles of Arlington Heights, covering communities including Wood Dale.
