Job description

Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25.00/hr. to $36.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.  Plus $60/ day  per diem and lodging when traveling.  Relocation assistance to the area is also available. 

What You'll Do:

  • Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues.
  • Use precision tools such as laser alignment systems, dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
  • Fabricate or modify equipment and parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when necessary.
  • Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other trades to complete equipment installations or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.

What You'll Need:

  • 2+ years of experience in an industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service role.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with rigging, hoisting, welding, and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
  • Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
  • Certifications in welding, rigging, forklift operation, or confined space entry.
  • Familiarity with vibration analysis or predictive maintenance tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service work.
  • Availability to work shifts outside of normal work schedule, including required OT on weekends and holidays.
  • Availability to travel throughout the region with overnight stays.
