Job description

New York Pulmonary Consultants is a division of Stony Brook Community Medical, PC and SB Administrative Services which provides management services for the practices of Stony Brook Community Medical, PC. Our network of community-based physicians work closely with the physicians at Stony Brook Medicine, Stony Brook University Hospital, Affiliated community hospitals and with other medical professionals to enhance the coordination of the medical care for every patient in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing overnight sleep testing for a pulmonary practice.
  • Carefully preparing for the sleep study prior to the patients arrival.
  • Explaining the procedure to the patient.
  • Calibrate and conduct appropriate sleep testing.
  • Opportunities for daytime responsibilities including scoring the study, preparing reports, mask interface fitting and desensitization to PAP therapy.
