Overnight Security Officer – Commercial Property Patrol (Unarmed)

Full Time Schedule: Thursday - Sunday (32 hours/week)

Thursday - Sunday (10pm-6am)

Location: 77043 Area (Houston, TX)

Pay Rate: $16.00

We are hiring an Overnight Security Officer for a commercial property patrol position in the 77043 area. This is an unarmed security role responsible for continuous exterior patrol using a golf cart.

If you are dependable, alert, and experienced in commercial property security, this is an excellent opportunity to work independently in a stable overnight position.

Security Officer Responsibilities

As an Overnight Patrol Officer, you will:

  • Conduct continuous golf cart patrol of parking lots and building perimeters
  • Perform exterior patrol of commercial property grounds
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, and vehicle break-ins
  • Provide a visible security presence to deter theft and vandalism
  • Follow observe and report procedures at all times
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies
  • Contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
  • Write detailed daily activity reports and incident reports
  • Inspect lighting, exterior doors, and property conditions
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and property management

This position requires the officer to remain alert and active throughout the entire overnight shift.

Security Officer Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of security officer experience (commercial property preferred)
  • Experience in overnight security or patrol operations strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license (golf cart patrol required)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work independently as the sole security officer on duty
  • MUST live within 20 miles of 77043
