Position Details
Position: E-Scooter Delivery Driver
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday: 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM
  • Two or Three Weekdays: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Please Note: Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. A company van is provided during shifts to perform job duties.

Job Summary
Veo seeks operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and continually improving the efficiency of our fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate, swap batteries, and rebalance vehicles throughout the city while performing quality checks and minor repairs.
The ideal candidate for this role is a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and staying active throughout an entire shift.
Responsibilities
  • Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks
  • Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap batteries
  • Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
  • Perform basic repairs and quality checks
  • Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve scooters
  • Maintain accurate task completion through the mobile app
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications
  • Ability to lift and move scooters weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of local geography and street layouts
  • Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, logistics, or operations environments
  • Ability to work overnight and weekend shifts
  • Experience driving cargo vans or delivery vehicles

  • This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
