How you'll make an impact:
The Real Estate Analyst supports the company's growth by analyzing data and helping the team make informed decisions about store locations and performance. This role works closely with real estate, finance, and other teams to provide insights and reporting across a multi-store portfolio.
This role reports to the Sr. Director, Real Estate Strategy & Analytics
Real Estate Support (50%):
  • Provide data driven insights for North American real estate portfolio (store fleet)
  • Support store optimization through data and advanced analytics (proprietary regression model)
  • Preparation of strategic real estate data for quarterly business reviews and information for earnings call / Board of Directors and deck for monthly Portfolio Management Committee meetings.
  • Ad hoc requests to support the forecasting, planning, and analysis of the Company's real estate portfolio

Real Estate Analysis (50%)
  • Prepare analyses and presentations for the monthly portfolio review and new store opportunities
  • Pipeline Management via reporting and Costar Landlord portfolio analysis
  • Management of real estate pipeline reporting including interaction with finance, accounting, and legal
  • Updating and maintenance of quarterly fleet performance reports shared across Carters
  • Ability to adapt data into storytelling and adjust to various audiences

We'd Love to hear from you if:
  • 3+ years in financial analysis, real estate analysis or related retail analysis
  • Bachelor's in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Real Estate, or related field
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills- convert complex analytical findings into clear, impactful messages
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL or Power BI tools; CoStar, mapping proficiency with GIS platforms a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate broadly across an organization on large-scale analyses and cross functional teams
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, general understanding of Retail KPI's and FP&A terminology
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Real Estate Finance Proformas with understanding of financial definitions
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious - seeks opportunities to improve analysis and the business without being asked
  • Assisting in administrative functions to manage and complete presentations

  • Experience working closely with Finance and Store Operations teams, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels and teams within the company.
