Quality Assurance Supervisor โ€“ 3rd Shift

Location: Lancaster, SC
Shift: Sunday โ€“ Thursday | 11:15 PM โ€“ 7:15 AM
Training: Initial training will be completed on 1st Shift
Salary: $75,000โ€“$85,000 + Annual Bonus Opportunity

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our overnight QA team in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing Quality Assurance personnel, ensuring compliance with cGMP and company quality standards, supporting manufacturing operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can coach and develop employees while maintaining a strong culture of quality and accountability.

What You'll Do
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Quality Assurance personnel on 3rd shift.
  • Provide QA oversight for manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse operations.
  • Review batch records, production documentation, and quality records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead investigations involving deviations, non-conformances, and quality events while driving effective CAPA implementation.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, SOPs, and company quality standards.
  • Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and inspection readiness activities.
  • Train employees on GMP requirements, quality systems, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor quality metrics and champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
  • 4โ€“5+ years of experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing or production environment.
  • At least 3 years of Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience with:
    • FDA and cGMP regulations
    • SOPs
    • Batch record review
    • Deviations and non-conformances
    • ISO standards
    • Lean Manufacturing principles
    • Dietary supplement manufacturing (preferred)
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, including:
    • Coaching and mentoring employees
    • Holding team members accountable
    • Managing difficult conversations
    • Conflict resolution
    • Ensuring policy compliance
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving positive change within Quality Operations.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $75,000โ€“$85,000, based on experience.
  • Annual Bonus: Eligible to earn up to 15% of year-to-date earnings. While not guaranteed, bonuses are typically paid during Q1 of the following year.
