About the Role:
The QA Architect plays a pivotal role in defining and implementing the quality assurance strategy across software development projects within the information industry. This position is responsible for designing scalable, efficient, and robust testing frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The QA Architect collaborates closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate quality practices seamlessly into the software development lifecycle. By leveraging deep expertise in automation, performance testing, and continuous integration, the QA Architect drives improvements in testing processes and tools. Ultimately, this role ensures that software solutions meet or exceed customer expectations for reliability, functionality, and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation and test architecture.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience with performance and security testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for testing environments.
- Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE).
- Experience working in regulated industries or with compliance standards such as ISO 9001 or CMMI.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive QA strategies and testing frameworks tailored to project requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Analyze testing results and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize testing efforts.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers and developers on best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and technologies to enhance QA capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to software quality.
