Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at The Core For Restored Families, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual, couples, and family counseling, facilitating both intake and ongoing therapy sessions to support clientsโ€™ mental wellness.

  • Implementing crisis intervention tactics to effectively address urgent mental health concerns, referring clients to appropriate services when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on diverse populations, including individuals and families facing various mental health and substance abuse challenges. You will serve clients from different cultural backgrounds, hence the provision of culturally sensitive and age-appropriate approaches is crucial.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Oregon is required.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating proficiency in counseling techniques and crisis intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to take independent action and make sound judgments in clinical settings.
Preferred Experience
