Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport countertops to multiple stops including DC’s, service centers and home delivery customers safely and efficiently
  • Load, unload and secure freight and verify load accuracy against packing list and BOL
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
  • Complete required logs, delivery paperwork, and documentation accurately
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and compliance 
  • Communicate effectively with outside customers, warehouse and office staff

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Ability to meet DOT physical and driving requirements
  • Clean MVR
  • 1 year tractor/trailer experience
  • Strong Safety awareness and attention to detail
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • OTR and city driving

Requirements

  • Professionally represents Hartson-Kennedy
  • Flexible work schedule and/or overtime as needed (Monday-Friday)
  • Available for occasional overnight runs (including over weekends)
  • Ability to lift 125 lbs
  • Must pass a background and drug test
