Job description

Job Title: Graveyard Production Worker
APEL Extrusions Location: Phoenix, AZ
U.S. Position: Does not qualify for work visa/sponsorship.
Shift: Graveyard - Monday-Thursday 8pm-6am
  • This schedule is expected to eventually transition to 12-hour shifts, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

APEL Extrusions, Inc. is an independent extruder, finisher and fabricator of aluminum extrusions, with six extrusion presses and a full array of finishing capabilities occupying over 600,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space employing approximately 300 people. With facilities in Calgary Canada, Coburg Oregon, and Phoenix Arizona, APEL serves the commercial, residential, and industrial markets of Western Canada and the Western United States.
Job Summary
Saw and Pack Helpers work to pack metal either at the press or to prepare orders for truck shipments. Material Handlers move material throughout the facility. All roles must work with operators and team leaders to ensure compliance with customer work orders and quality requirements.

Competencies/Skills
  • High degree of independence and accountability - Good attendance is required.

  • Adhere and promote all safety requirements.
  • Read and understand dimensional prints.
  • Operate measuring devices.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
