Level III RN - Endoscopy / GI

Location: New York
Openings: 4 Positions Available
Schedule Options:

  • 5x8-hour shifts OR 4x10-hour shifts
  • Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • On-call required (overnights and weekends)

Start Date: Flexible
Pay Range: $65-$70 per hour (based on experience)

About Blue United Sourcing

Blue United Sourcing partners with leading healthcare organizations to connect highly skilled clinicians with meaningful opportunities. We are currently seeking four experienced Level III RN - Endoscopy/GI professionals to support a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment in New York.

Position Overview

The Level III RN - Endo/GI will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures. This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced procedural experience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting. The ideal candidate is confident in sedation, telemetry monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient intake and pre-procedure assessments for GI procedures
  • Monitor patients during endoscopic procedures, including telemetry and rhythm interpretation
  • Administer and monitor conscious sedation
  • Provide expert IV insertion and vascular access support
  • Recover patients from general anesthesia and monitor for complications
  • Respond effectively to emergent situations
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
  • Participate in on-call rotation for overnight and weekend coverage
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Current New York State RN License
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification experience
  • Conscious sedation experience
  • Expert-level IV insertion skills
  • Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
  • Experience performing intake for GI procedures
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
  • Experience in high-volume Endoscopy/GI settings
  • Ability to work flexible shifts within 8 AM - 8 PM schedule
  • Comfortable with on-call responsibilities
