Job description

The Overnight Hotel Manager (or Night Manager) acts as the primary Manager on Duty, overseeing all overnight operations (typically 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.). Key duties include performing night audits, reconciling financial transactions, ensuring guest safety, managing front desk staff, resolving guest issues, and overseeing overnight cleaning or security. 



Responsibilities:
  • Night Audit & Finance: Reconcile daily financial activity, process payments, and run reports.
  • Manager on Duty: Act as the highest-ranking employee during the overnight shift, handling emergencies, guest complaints, and high-level service recovery. 
  • Guest Services & Security: Supervise front desk operations, check-ins/check-outs, and conduct security walkthroughs. 
  • Operational Support: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for overnight cleaning, room readiness, and work orders.
  • Staff Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise night staff. 

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1-2 years in front office operations or night audit supervisory roles.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Technical: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) Hilton
  • Availability: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and 3rd shift hours.
